Sherry Gaertner-Tibbets
Sherry has been a resident of the Valley of The Sun since 1981 coming from Chicago. She started her Real Estate career selling New Homes for Richmond American in 1984. In 1989 she obtained her Brokers license and opened up the Valleys first Buyers Agency representing buyers exclusively for 5 years. In November of 1993 Sherry moved her business to the North Scottsdale area and saw the need for a full service Real Estate Company and opened Sherry Gaertner & Company.
Sherry began selling Terravita along with Del Webb from Day 1 when they opened a trailer for sales. At that time we drove clients around in 4 wheel drive as there were no roads or utilities pulled in to the lots. We searched for home sites in raw dirt imagining what the views would be and how the house would fit as in many cases there were no lot stakes. On many occasions I had college kids camping out for up to a week for clients to pick their new lot when a section would open for sales. It was great to be a part of a dream and vision and to see what Terravita has evolved to be. Terravita has expanded to be an Active Adult Lifestyle Community with exceptional amenities that cannot be found in the Scottsdale or Carefree area for the Value and price. Terravita is so Unique as you are not just buying a home, you are buying your future lifestyle.

Heleen has worked in the real estate industry for over 20 years. A native of The Netherlands, she moved to the United States in 1983. She began her career in real estate in Washington D.C. in 1987 and became an associate broker and co-owner of a highly successful real estate firm there. She worked as managing director of the sales force and property management division, while also actively selling real estate throughout the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
In 1997, Heleen purchased a house in Scottsdale, moved here permanently in 2001 and has worked as an associate broker in the local real estate market since that time.
In addition to her extensive real estate background and expertise in the local market, Heleen is fluent in Dutch, German and French and can therefore support international clientele.
Besides real estate, Heleen enjoys playing tennis, hiking, swimming, yoga, travel and reading.
